Session Transcript

The seven chakra energy system is one of our most powerful influences on how our lives are playing out. Each chakra has a mission or theme that I’m going to review with you. The most thorough way to understand the chakra energies and how they are affecting our lives and the time in which we live is to read my book, “The Modern Chakra Guide.” In this video, I will review the most basic information you need to know to effectively work with the Healing Plan for the Chakras.

Let’s start with an affirmation. Repeat this affirmation after me, “I am learning and understanding how my chakra energy system affects my life. As I learn and work with my chakra energies, my life only improves.”

The seven chakra energies begin with the first chakra called the root chakra. There is a bottom floor to the root chakra I identify as the foot chakra. The foot chakra is your magnetic plate of attraction that is connected to the earth. It creates a path for you. It creates an energy field that is fed by all seven chakra energies. The area of the body that is affected if this chakra is weak or closed is the feet and lower legs.

When this chakra is weak or closed, things don’t show up for you in a timely way, you feel like you’re tripping through life. You cannot move forward easily, you get delayed, detoured, or you even sabotage yourself. And you feel like you’re attracting a lot of what you do not want. When this foot chakra is potent and powerful, you attract what you want, you feel an open path to move forward, you’re able to identify the next correct steps easily. You manifest the people and events that support you in creating your life.

The root chakra is located in the area of the bottom of the torso, the pelvic bone, the tailbone and it actually flows down into the foot chakra plugging into the earth. If your chakra is closed or weak, you’ll feel a lack of groundedness, not in your body, you feel you’re sort of on the outside looking in into the world. You don’t feel connected with other people easily. You might feel like the odd person out in your family system. You have trouble flowing money, you have trouble with your health. You just aren’t thriving at the most basic physical level of existence.

When it’s open and strong you feel alive and vibrant in your body, you feel present. Your body is working correctly. You feel connected to people that are like-minded, you attract people that are like-minded. You have ease in your relationships and relating to them. You feel a strong connection to your family and friends while being able to stay true to yourself.

Your second chakra, the creation chakra, is located in the area of the middle of the belly, and also the middle of the lower back. When the second chakra is weak or closed, you feel shame and disconnection in your sexual experience. You can feel taken advantage of and not supported by others. You’ll feel blocked and a lack of creativity when it comes to pursuing your creative passions. And you’ll often feel that too much pleasure is something you should feel guilty about.

When your second chakra is open and vibrant, you feel pleasure in many areas of your life, including sexual pleasure where you feel honored for your sexual expression. You’ll pursue creative pleasures and be able to follow through on them, making a difference in the world. Having a passionate experience as the creative being you are.

The third chakra, your power chakra, is located in the area just below the middle of your breasts, about 2, 3 inches down the solar plexus area. When this chakra is weak or closed, you will accommodate others giving your power away. You think of others and accommodate them and not yourself. You feel compromised and not able to move forward because you don’t feel you have that right to take action in your life. You’re often looking for permission outside yourself.

When the power chakra is open and vibrant, you feel your sense of authentic power. You know that power is meant to make your life better and influence the life of others in a positive way. You enjoy collaborative relationships where your power is honored and you honor the power and action of others. You often feel energized by taking action easily moving forward, in what is correct for you to pursue in the world.

Your fourth chakra, your heart chakra, is the center of your chest. When it’s weak and closed, you’ll feel protective of your heart, you’ll feel your feelings get hurt easily. And you’re vulnerable in this area that you have to keep yourself from really connecting in a heartfelt way with people and you’ll often operate more often in your mind than your heart, because you feel vulnerable in this space and you don’t wanna get hurt again.

When your heart center is open and vibrant, you just feel happy for no apparent reason. You know your happiness is an inside expression that sustains every aspect of your life. And because you’re happy for no reason you easily attract people being kind, respectful, loving, and saying really complimentary things about you. You’re able to give and receive knowing that open channel is always active and vibrant for you, you receive and you easily give. You know that you have compassion for other people, you express that compassion and that concern without necessarily feeling sorry for people, because you understand we all have our life lessons to learn from.

The fifth chakra, your throat chakra, is located at the center of the throat. It is the function of expressing your truth, and so when its weak or closed, you have trouble saying what’s true and correct for you. You often think it through before you say it and you often think about it after you say it. Wishing you had said something different, or you think, what do I need to say with this person? What do they want me to say? And you’ll dismiss your own authentic expression and you’ll feel that your voice is actually blocked and often challenged by others.

When the throat chakra is open and vibrant, you easily express what is correct for you in a civil and respectful way. You’re heard, you’re understood, and you’re supported as that’s what that energy attracts to you. You’re able to listen and respect what others are saying and their own opinions. You never feel apologetic for what you said because you feel a confidence knowing what you speak when you speak it, is what was the correct thing to say.

The sixth chakra, your intuitive chakra, is located in the center of your forehead. It is often called the third eye. When it is weak and closed you feel blocked from your intuition. You don’t trust it, you feel it’s a vulnerable thing to trust, a gut feeling or a sense of something. And you often will divert to an analytical process and thinking you have to prove and it has to be proven, and it has to have logic behind it in order to feel confidence in it.

When the six chakra is open and vibrant, you trust your intuition. It’s an active part of your guidance system. It works in partnership with your thinking logical mind. You’re able to trust these gut feelings and the sense that comes over you of what’s correct and right and timely. It’s so potent and powerful, you know that it will lead you in the correct direction.

The seventh chakra, the crown chakra, is located on the crown of the head and is the energy that connects our chakra system to divinity, to the energy of heaven. When the crown chakra is closed and blocked, you feel no divine guidance in your life or very little. You don’t feel that there’s a divine presence to guide and support you, and you often feel resentful and angry to feel so abandoned.

When the crown chakra is open and vibrant, you feel guidance, you feel love, you feel divine connection. And you feel a great appreciation, gratitude, and respect, for knowing there’s a power greater than you watching over you guiding and influencing your life and your highest good.

Working with your chakra energies is one of the most powerful decisions you can make at this time on the planet. Doing this will assist you in rising above the chaos of the world to create a life of affluence, ease, and joy.
